Getting older is just fine for most people. With age comes a new sense of self. However, looking old is quite another thing. As a society, we object to it so much we’re willing to spend billions of dollars on treatments and surgeries to look younger.
The solution may be much simpler. In fact, your diet plays a critical role in not only how young you look but how young you feel. Take advantage of these anti-aging diet tips and embrace vitality.
#1 Fish. While all fish is good for you, cold water fish like salmon, mackerel, and barramundi are very high in omega 3 fatty acids. You’ve probably heard that you should consume omega 3 fatty acids. However, do you know why? When it comes to anti-aging the anti-inflammatory properties of omega 3 fatty acids are profound. It helps keep all of your tissues from getting inflamed. We’re talking about everything from your fat cells to your heart and brain.
#2 Whole Grains. Many whole grains contain the essential omega 3 fatty acids mentioned above. However, they also contain fiber. Fiber helps you maintain a balanced blood sugar. It reduces cravings. It also helps your digestive system stay on track. Many of the benefits lie in how much simple whole grains can improve your health. Whole grains help prevent diabetes, heart disease, stroke, colon cancer, high blood pressure, and even gum disease.

Too much alcohol however isn’t good for your liver and organs. Limit your anti-aging imbibing to one glass of red wine daily.
